![]() Each year we offer classes responding to current social needs of our community. We explore the spirituality found in putting our faith in action, the spirit that compels us to answer the call of love, and the ways in which we can make a difference in creating a more just world. Spirituality in Social, Eco & Racial Justice Courses may include Building Your Own Theology, Writing as a Spiritual Practice, Lifecraft (the art of meaning in the everyday), Meditation, Our Whole Lives for Adults, UU Spirituality: Spirit in Practice, Yoga, Spiritual Storytelling. ![]() We explore and develop our personal spiritual beliefs and add tools that help us define and practice our beliefs. Classes may cover areas such as financial planning, dealing with grief, facing death, parenting, becoming an adult, and more. We welcome opportunities to sharpen our skill sets and to promote healthy, compassionate lives. ![]() When possible, the Adult Learning Journey will offer adult classes that pair up with the Children’s Religious Education (RE) topics, to provide resonance in learning within families and the fellowship. We study world religions, and how we see them through a UU lens, exploring our commonalities and connections. UU Identity includes New to UU classes, UU history, principles and ethics, and exploration of how our values are put forth to create our faith in action. UU Identity is foundational to the Learning Journey, as we explore and develop how our Unitarian Universalist beliefs help inform who we want to be. Childcare may be available for classes please request at least one week before the first class to arrange. If you wish to suggest or teach a class, please contact the Learning Journey chair at is usually no charge for classes and they are open to ages 16+ unless noted. Classes encourage continued spiritual, ethical and faith development, as well as a deeper understanding of Unitarian Universalist identity and values.
